John Hassard is an associate in the Security and Police Practices group with Robson Forensic, Inc. located in Lancaster, PA.

 

John Hassard is a security expert with over thirty years of experience in retail loss prevention, premises security and fraud investigation.  He applies his expertise to forensic casework involving injuries, assaults, and economic loss claims as they relate to loss prevention, security and investigation policies and procedures, use of force, training of loss prevention and security personnel, hiring practices, and physical security measures.

John has worked at every level of the security profession, from contract security officer to director of loss prevention for a Fortune 500 retailer.  John’s boots-on-the-ground experience, combined with his strong academic background and extensive management experience, provides a comprehensive understanding of security industry standards and best-demonstrated practices.

John has served in loss prevention management roles with many national and global retailers to include Macy’s, Big B Drugs, Movie Gallery/Hollywood Entertainment, and ALCO Stores.

John earned a M.Sc. in Security Management and a B.S in Criminal Justice.  He is a charter member of the Loss Prevention Foundation; earning the LPC certification, is Board Certified in Security Management (CPP) and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
